  • The Carroll County Historic Preservation Commission meets on the second Tuesday of each. Your application must be submitted at least ten (10) calendar days prior to the next scheduled meeting. Applications received after this deadline will be placed on the agenda for the next meeting.

    1. Please carefully review the Carroll County Historic Preservation Commission’s DESIGN GUIDELINES. The Design Guidelines provide guidance on how to make your new home/building/structure conform to the existing historic appearance in Uniontown.

  • c. the proposed materials to be used for the entire exterior of the home, including, but not limited to:

  • As part of your application or presentation, the Historic Preservation Commission will expect, at a minimum, the following items be submitted:

    a. a blueprint / professional drawing that includes dimensions (height, length, and width of the building);

    b. a scaled plot plan showing the proposed building, driveway

    c. samples of proposed materials

    d. photographs of proposed designs to be used, as well as any existing structures on said property
